NYC.. CAT.. MOVE

 I am turning in my storage and  will make my final move to NYC in June. It feels like the "moving to NYC beginning " I have been wishing for even though I have been working there for almost a year and renting a room in Queens for almost six month. I am looking forward to 30mins commute to work or 1 hour if I walk. My new apartment building have a roof deck and I am looking forward to meeting my new neighbors . My new roommate who I can't wait to get to know,  has a cat who is my namesake but lucky for her I don't use that name often. I am leaving one living situation with a black cat for another with another black cat. Cats are in my future.. It is so appropriate as cat are know for their independent and I am heading towards independence.

First bus ride

Be mindful of what you wish for or in my case obsess about because the Universe will give it to you. Yesterday I got to ride the bus that goes from Manhattan to my home location in Queens. I have work Colleagues who ride the same bus and when I found out it is the same one that I will have to take if I ever needed the but, I wondered ( on numerous occasion) if I will know where to get out, especially at night since I am new to the area.
 Yesterday, because of a switch problem, none of the four trains that I can take home was going my way. Something told me to grab dinner in the city and try later but when the announcer mentioned that we can connect with the buses, I took the opportunity to take the bus home.

I was lucky to get on the first bus but 30 minutes into the ride, a friend I had emailed about the ordeal told me the trains are back running on its normal route and schedule.
