More Americans learns ABC in Chinese-NPR

I think these people are unto something; I am going to add Chinese to my list of languages to learn. For now, I will rely on my Chinese friends and friends that know Chinese if I want to say or something in Chinese or do go to China. Many people are sending their kids to schools that teaches Chinese as part of their curriculum, because they say Chinese will be the language of the future, if they are wrong, the kids still win, the knowing more than one language is beneficially social and professional and it is fun .

Some 2011 goals.

Language development goals for this year:

1. Improve my writing skills by Journaling more, blogging more and writing short stories.
2. Continue to Study French and Spanish
3. Research and Read more (various topics, and authors).

Career Goals:

Get a new job; one that allows me to be part of a team that works for the greater good of others, one that pays well. No more working three jobs and barely make it. One well paid job will help me focus on my professional and personal goals.

Continue to work as a volunteer government Liaison for the Red Cross.

Where do the things I dream about come from?

Am I alone in this, why do any topic I focus on including those observed briefly end up as themes in my dream? The other day I was watching talk show where the host and guest were talking about taking a jet to Vegas. When I went to sleep, I dreamt that I was taking a Jet plane to England and en route, we did a scenic tour of New York City. Just to let you know early that day I had spoken to my cousin in England and whiles watching a television show based in New York City, I commented that I love to see my favorite New York sights on television.

Another loss

2010 played some havoc on these early days of 2011. Last month one of my aunts lost her husband and now just before laying him to rest, my grandmother lost another sibling, the third in three years.
I have accepted that people die before I could spell the word death, what i can't stand is the sorrow that death causes, it is difficult knowing that people are sad and only time can end their sadness.

Rest in Peace Uncle Billy and Uncle Solanke.
