I love these two distinctions, “the summoned life” and “well-planned life”. Lately, I have been viewing my life from the “summoned life” perspective and it has helped me handled my currently non-productive profession life and the disappointment in not finding a job that matches my educational skills. I am constantly asking myself: why am I here in this place where I do not have the opportunity to reach my potential?, what does God want me to do, what am I being used for? After listening to my staff, I know why I am here now, but I also know my time is limited.
